Johns Hopkins has recently sent this out in its newsletters. This informatio! n is being circulated at Walter Reed Army Medical Center as well. Dioxin chemicals cause cancer, especially
breast cancer . Dioxins are highly poisonous to the cells of our bodies. Don't freeze your plastic bottles with water in them as this releases dioxins from the plastic. Recently, Dr Edward Fujimoto, Wellness Program Manager at Castle Hospital , was on a TV program to explain this health hazard . He talked about dioxins and how bad they are for us. He said that we should not be heating our food in the microwave using plastic containers. This especially applies to foods that contain fat, He said that the combination of fat, high heat, and plastics releases dioxin into the food and ultimately into the cells of the body. Instead, he recommends using glass, such as Corning Ware, Pyrex or ceramic containers for heating food ,You get the same results, only without the dioxin. So such things as TV dinners , instant ramen and soups, etc., should be removed from the container and heated in something else. Paper isn't bad but you don't know what is in the paper. It's just safer to use tempered glass, Corning Ware, etc. He reminded us that a while ago some of the fast food restaurants moved away from the foam containers to paper ,The dioxin problem is one of the reasons. Also, he pointed out that plastic wrap, such as Saran, is just as dangerous when placed over foods to be cooked in the microwave. As the food is nuked, the high heat causes poisonous toxins which is actually melt out from the plastic wrap and drip into the food. Cover food with a paper towel instead.
約翰霍普金斯已將這篇研究報告用新聞稿方式發佈，同時 Walter Reed 陸軍醫學中心亦將這篇報告傳播 . 戴奧辛之化學物質會導致癌症 ，尤其是 乳癌 。按:戴奧辛對體內細胞具很高之毒性，因而 千萬別將裝有水之塑膠罐放 入冰箱，因為它亦會將戴奧辛釋出 。前不久 Dr. Edward Fujimoto 在電視節目中談到健康之風險，他就強調戴奧辛對健康是多麼有害，因而請千萬不要用塑膠容器放入微波爐加熱食物。這尤其是指含有脂肪之食物，當脂肪與高溫及塑膠結合時，塑膠即會釋放出戴奧辛並進入食物中，最終就進入體內 之細胞。因而他建議使用玻璃器皿作為加熱食物用，因為它一樣可使食物變熱，然卻少了戴奧辛。紙是不錯的容器，然而你無法瞭解紙裡到底含有什麼物質，因而較安全之容器是冶煉過的玻璃器皿，如康寧器皿等, 他提醒為何前不久速食店將泡沫塑料容器改為紙容器，其中戴奧辛就是問題之一 . 同時他亦指出保鮮膜,如 Saran保鮮膜 用於包裹食物，在微波爐加熱時亦是非常危險的，因為當食物用微 波爐加熱時，高溫會讓毒素由保鮮膜溶解出來進入食物內，所以應用紙巾包裹食物作替代。

第一個偶然：家母於2005年3月底在台北宏恩醫院檢查出肝內有一個12.2公分直徑的腫瘤。並經複檢確定，血液內甲型胎兒蛋白AFP?高到天文數字，難怪好幾個月來家母體力大降，胃口大缺，家庭麻將打不到一個東風圈就因小腿水腫無法久坐而罷手。醫生說：「九十歲了，不適開刀，不宜化療，只剩下一到二年壽命」。全家頓時處於愁雲慘霧中，一籌莫展，這是一個難過的偶然。第二個偶然：發生在飛碟電台，由趙少康先生主持的飛碟早餐節目，每週四早上七?八點請陽明醫學院藥理研究所的潘懷宗教授主講「醫學新知」，當時筆者還躺在床上聆聽節目，日期已記不清了，應該是在四、五月間，潘教授那天選擇癌症為主題，突然提及2005年最新的醫學期刊報告，金針菇所含特殊的免疫調節功能蛋白質在餵食給罹癌小鼠後，小鼠體內的免疫系統產生大量自然殺手細胞，竟把癌細胞吞噬殆盡了。這個訊息使家母得以從癌症的陰影中脫困。

西：不敢，我看到不好的東西就給它消除，這叫立竿見影。
癌：既然不能保證，為什麼還要做？
西：成功率至少還有幾趴吧。
癌：那你們得癌症會做這些治療？
西：應該不會？
癌：為什麼？
西：因為應該好不了，可能會復發
癌：為什麼會復發？
西：因為毒素太強了
癌：所以我們不是壞小孩，毒素才是壞小孩，我在幫你清這些垃圾，你們卻要殺了我？
西：可是因為你們和毒攪和在一起，一起宰了比較安全
癌：那病人的免疫力、元氣、生活品質也一起宰了

癌：那做了這些治療死亡率高嗎？
西：……
癌：有人不做任何治療，甚至檢查、切片，有可能活更好嗎？

西：30%的人死了才知道攝護癌，只有1%死於攝護癌
癌：所以西醫治療癌症是一場笑話，叫他們去檢查，讓他們被癌症這個名詞嚇得半死，然後乖乖的去手術、化療、放療，又說不一定會好，搞得人不像人鬼不像裡，那幹嘛去檢查，奇怪耶你，你知道去西醫治癌症的人，不是死於我，而是死於你們的暴力醫學。
西：可是我們西醫有 些科目也很不錯啊
癌：我承認有些科門也有貢獻也很重要，但是你們治內科的病是天大的笑話，拿人們的家庭幸福開玩笑，尤其一些年紀輕輕美麗帥氣的小孩被你們整得不成人型，你們對得起他們的父母嗎？
西：那是他們不知道防癌的養生之道。
癌：好！給你一個機會說明正確的防癌之道以彌補罪過，快說！
西：一定要好好運動，每天運動最好，不要吃太多人工的食物，也不要吃太飽，還要調適心情，不要太壓抑，不要太完美主義，不要太愛面子，多瞭解別人的想法，不要急著要別人改變，讓他們的心情可以紓發，不要用太高的標準要求別人和自己，學習當一個平衡的人，這樣癌症絕對不會找你。
癌：總算幫我平反了，講那麼多，有沒有最簡單的方法？
西：有！就是輕輕鬆鬆的接納自己和別人的樣子，保 持清醒覺知的狀態。
癌：你算是有良知的醫生，握手！
